Prince of Stride is a Sports/Visual Novel game published by Dengeki Girl's Style, Kadokawa Shoten, Vridge Inc. released on July 30, 2015 for the PlayStation Vita.
In this game, “Stride” is a futuristic extreme sport that combines parkour, free-running, relay and sprint. You play as Sakurai Nana who is drawn to Stride after watching a video depicting a Stride match with Hounan Gakuen Seniors. Wholeheartedly wanting to play Stride, Nana moves from Hokkaido to Tokyo to enroll into Hounan Gakuen.
Soon after, she joins the Hounan Stride Club and finds out that the Hounan Stride that she so admired is no more because of an incident that happened in their last tournament. Determined, Nana becomes their “Relaytioner”, the leader of the team, and tries to revive the Stride Club with the remaining members.
“Let the wind back into your heart.”
And so the training starts for the team to win the “End of Summer” Eastern Japan Tournament and become the best Stride team like they once were.
If you’re a fan of the anime, you’ll enjoy this, I think. You play as the relaystioner just like in the anime where you watch the map and timing of the teams and train with them to get better.
