|Game Title:||Bunny Must Die! Chelsea and the 7 Devils|
|Release Date:||September 26, 2013|
|Genre:||Adventure, Metroidvania, Platformer 2D|
“The introductory plot is as follows: after being near a cattomic power plant explosion, poor Bunny has been cursed with a pair of cat ears. Soon, a “fat prophet” appears and guides her to the Cave of the Devils to help get rid of her curse. Unfortunately for Bunny upon entering the cave, the “fat prophet” gets attacked by some random steer, gets stabbed several by its horns and dies. Thankfully the steer just wanders off after killing him, but Bunny is now lost in the Cave of the Devils still needing to find a way to remove her curse.”
That’s basically the intro.
Soon after the intro is finished, you’re thrown into the game, leaving you to figure out what to do next. But that’s OK because this game is your everyday Metroidvania game and figuring things out is what you need to do. (Or read the strategy guide included in the download)
One thing I should mention is that you can “Parry” or “Block” if you will. All you need to do is tap a directional button just before you get hit. Now this may seem simple, true, but it IS overpowered if you master it and it brings up the question: How?
Simple…If you can take damage from it, you can parry it, Even spikes. There are certain attacks that will hurt you as soon as your invincibility frames disappear but with a well timed tapping, you can parry constantly.
See how overpowered it is if you master it?
Overall, this is one of my favorite Metroidvania games and I recommend to people who like it to try it out as there are many things to discover (Achievements also exists, good luck trying to figure out each one without a guide).
